A few years ago, I had the honor of going Christmas caroling with some Native American young people. It was an amazing time, even when they didn't know how all of the songs went. No matter what, they were belting it out!
I'm Brad Hutchcraft, and those young people really got it - Christmas is something to be celebrated. Actually, Jesus is someone to be celebrated.
Why? The Bible tells us that "unto us a child is born," so Jesus being born is reason one. But wait, there's more! Luke 19:10 says that He came to "seek and to save the lost." We are the "lost" in that verse.
Isaiah 53:6 reminds us that we have all wandered away from God. We need a way back to Him, and Jesus provided that way by paying the penalty for our sins through His death on the cross, and through His resurrection three days later.
