In the new Grinch movie, the fuzzy green guy gets a visit from Cindy Lou Who after he has returned everything he stole. When she invites him to Christmas dinner at her house, he starts to tell her his list of wrongs. Cindy Lou simply says, "But you're invited anyway. You've been alone long enough."

Christmas is a time where many rehearse their list of things that have gone wrong. It's easy to focus on bad things - someone we've hurt or who has hurt us, a broken family, financial hardship. Too often we isolate ourselves when we need love from someone the most.

But that's the great news about Christmas! Jesus came so we don't have to be alone anymore. No matter what you've done or what's been done to you, you're invited!

The Bible says, "God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." We did the sinning, but Jesus paid the penalty on the cross so we don't have to. No matter where you're at right now, you can invite Jesus in. The Bible tells us that all who believe in and receive Jesus become children of God. That's the best Christmas gift we could ask for!

If you're ready to lay down the hurts, and read to accept the invitation Jesus is offering, connect with us at 888-NEED-HIM or ChatAboutJesus.com. Because of Jesus, you don't have to be alone anymore.
