I live in an area where Christmas comes early. Like, November 1st early. The calendar flips and Christmas is everywhere!
This might not excite you much if you think that's too early. Or, it could be that you're not much of a Christmas person at all. Or maybe it's just that we all have a little Charlie Brown in us, feeling like there must be more to Christmas.
Christmas isn't about the lights, the music and the gifts. When it comes down to it, Christmas is about Jesus' love for you. Jesus came on a rescue mission. He took the punishment for our sin by dying on the cross.
Romans 5:8 in the Bible says these amazing words - "God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." This was for me. For you.
And then He rose again - Jesus defeated death and now you have an opportunity to have a forever relationship with Him!
