Our Christmas tree isn't just decorated with lights - it's covered with memories. A baby's first Christmas ornament, crafts our kids made, places we've seen - even our son's football mouth guard made into an ornament.
Unfortunately, a lot of folks' Christmases are decorated with sad memories - people you've lost, mistakes you regret, scars you carry, and scars you've inflicted. Thank God, Jesus said He came "to bind up the brokenhearted" (Isaiah 61:1). Because at the core of all this world's brokenness is the fact that we're all away from God, doing life our way instead of His. We're missing His plans, His hope, His love.
So Jesus allowed Himself to be broken so we could be healed. On a tree. The cross where He took all the hell for all our sin. And He says, "I will make all things new" (Revelation 21:5). And he'll do it for you - if you'll give yourself to Him. Now, if that's what you want, would you visit our website, NeedHim.org.
Look at that tree where Jesus died for you - and say, "For me."
