Well, just before the Christmas angels promised that peace, they said, "To you is born this day...a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:11). A Savior for you. Who brings you inner peace by making possible peace with God. The God we're away from because of our sin. Sin that Jesus died to forgive.
Jesus adds a word to "life" that changes everything. "Eternal." See, death isn't the end.
