The carol was written during World War II, and now it’s the dream of every person who has someone they love serving in places like Iraq or Afghanistan - "I’ll Be Home for Christmas." And we pray they soon will be.But that's also God's passionate desire for you. He wants you to be home - not just for Christmas, but for life. Nobody wants to be separated at Christmas. According to the Bible, we spend every day of our lives separated from our Creator, because in God's words, "your sins have separated you from your God." Our hearts were made for a personal love relationship with God and your heart will never be home until you belong to Him. That first Christmas, God's Son left home so you could find home. He laid down His life for the sin that keeps us from God. And when you trust Him as your Rescuer from your sin, your heart is finally home. If you want to begin your personal relationship with Jesus, would you call us at 888-NEED HIM? You really can be home for Christmas.
