You'll be getting some gifts this Christmas season, and when you open those brightly wrapped packages there are two things you don't want to say: "How much do I owe you?" or "I don't want it."
Tragically, that's how too many people - maybe you - respond to God's greatest gift to them. The Bible says, "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." God says going to heaven is a gift, not something we can earn, no matter how good we are. We earn hell with our sin. We can only get to heaven by reaching out and taking the gift Jesus paid for when He paid our sin bill on the cross.
The gift God sent that first Christmas - the gift of eternal life Jesus paid for with His life - is within your reach.
