Are you surprised when your prayers are answered? I stand amazed at what God does sometimes in answer to what I think is a real need in my life, and the way He chooses to change me or my circumstances.
If you, too, have had this happen, remember that we shouldn’t be so surprised at His power, when He set our universe in motion and controls billions of galaxies! Jesus said, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24).
The leadership of Hutchcraft Ministries has established prayer as a core value of this ministry, and we have seen amazing answers to prayer as the ministry has grown, and been able to see thousands of lives changed through outreach events, radio programs and resources.
It’s a privilege to go into the throne room of Almighty God and know that He is listening; caring about the smallest details of our lives. Of course He knows in advance what we actually need and how it can be provided, but He asks us to come to Him with whatever is in our hearts…thankfulness, praise, hurts, needs and desires.
Plus, in this particular year, our families and our country desperately need God's direction during these days of leadership transition, and He wants us to depend completely upon His provision. Please pray that the leadership of this ministry and the leadership of our country are sensitive to and follow God’s leading as decisions are made which will affect all of us.
Pray to see other people and circumstances as God sees them, and pray specifically and often for God’s will to be accomplished, believing that nothing is impossible when you leave it with Him.
