Expensive Love

I spent a lot on baseball cards when I was a kid. Trying to get the one player who was my awesome favorite. Never got his card. Years later, my young son was collecting cards, He saved for months for this big card show - where, believe it or not, I saw my card! But didn't buy it.

Minutes later, my son came up, extended his hand, and said, "Here, Daddy." There was my card. My son looked up and said, "I love you, Daddy." I knew he did. He'd spent everything he had on me.

How can you know that God loves you? Because He spent everything He had on you! It's called Good Friday.

The Bible says, "He did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all... while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

Nobody loves you like Jesus does. The only love that can satisfy our searching heart. The only love that will never let you go.

This Easter season is a wonderful time to open your heart to Jesus.
