Easter - the End of the Hunt

I've been in a lot of cemeteries. Checking tombstones for information to close the gaps in our family tree. On more than one occasion, I found what I was looking for in a graveyard.

Here's the strange thing about Easter. Our lifetime search for meaning in this life and hope for the next life also ends in a graveyard. Where Jesus walked out of His grave on that first Easter morning.

They say 100 billion people have lived - and died on this planet.

Only one came back. Jesus.

And if you're hoping for heaven when this relatively short life is over, only Jesus can get you there. The Bible says, "The wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

Only the One who paid for your sins, can forgive your sins.

And only the One who proved He has eternal life can give you eternal life.
