A Very Personal Easter

When we showed family movies years ago, our youngest kept asking, "Am I in it yet?"

When it comes to Good Friday, you are definitely in the picture. The around Jesus' cross represent us. You're in there somewhere.

Take the centurion, for example - the Roman officer in charge of the execution. Who says at the end of the day, "Surely this was the Son of God." What happened? The Bible says it was, "when he saw how He died."

He heard Jesus say, as He looked at His crucifiers, "Father, forgive them," He heard Jesus say to the believing thief next to Him - "Today you will be with me in paradise."

This Jesus would forgive his sins. And could take him to Heaven. It opened the centurion's heart.

Now what about you? Jesus is ready to forgive your lifetime of sins and take you want heaven when you die. That's what He was dying for.
