Native American Outreach Underway

The 2009 outreach to Native American young people is underway!

Over 600 warriors representing more than 70 different nations gathered at the one-of-a-kind Warrior Leadership Summit (WLS) discipleship conference. The majority of these Native young people described the conference as life-changing. Some began a relationship with Jesus, while others committed to serve Jesus and share Him with others back home.

The On Eagles' Wings (OEW) team made up of 43 Native American and First Nations young people will spend the month engaging young people from eight different reservations with the Hope of Jesus. They will carry out outreach events, share their Hope stories of the difference Jesus has made in their lives, and lead other Native young people to begin their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Your prayers for the OEW team are vital. It's a battle for every life and the warriors who fight for them need a special dose of God's protection, power, and sustaining strength. Victories are hard-fought and prayer-won! Please pray that the team experiences God's protection and demonstrate great boldness in sharing the Gospel.
