Lights! Shining ornaments. Glowing trees.
There's a reason we're drawn to light - it brightens our world! We can see!
Above all, it chases away the darkness. As soon as I turn on Christmas lights, or light candles on the table - the darkness has been broken.
Drive through Christmas lights bring smiles, and people gaze with wonder at huge trees with Christmas lights.
Because we're drawn to light.
We stumble in the dark, and can't see our next step.
So, when the Light of the World - Jesus - came to earth - He brightened the world. And when we choose to have a relationship with the God who made us - He blots out our sin, and shines His light on our path ahead.
