Every year at Christmas we kids would always have that one "impossible" gift we'd ask for. We called it the "big one." One of my most memorable "big ones" was a Millennium Falcon toy from Star Wars. I know it set mom and dad back some, but oh what a gift!
The impossible gift - what's that for you this year? Being forgiven by a loved one? Forgiving a loved one? Mending a broken relationship that seems beyond repair?
That's a lot of burden to carry at Christmas. But here's the thing: you were never meant to have to carry it! God says bring it all to Him - the One who carried all the burdens of all our sin on a cross. Give Him your anxieties. He wants to carry them and trade those burdens for peace!
That all starts with beginning a relationship with Him. God's Book says "the cost of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus."
