As we surge towards Christmas, there are moments that take our breath away. Twinkling lights, yummy food, festive music, giving, celebrating.
But there are other moments that take our breath away, because it feels like we've been kicked in the stomach.
This Christmas, there's a missing person - because of death, divorce, or a gushing wound in our heart. There's an iffy medical diagnosis. We don't have visitation. We lost our job...income...reputation.
Yet in our broken, we see a baby. He's the One who loves you more than anyone else, who died for all the junk in our life, and who blew the doors off death!
He came for us broken ones, and this One who "has overcome the world" is ready to have a relationship with you! (John 16:33).
