If you're anywhere near a TV this Christmas, you'll notice the hallmark channel has Christmas love stories on like 24/7. Now this kind of actually makes sense. I got engaged to my wife on Christmas Eve.
There's certainly something special about starting a relationship at Christmastime. That's what Christmas is all about after all - our creator, sending the gift of His son Jesus so we could have a relationship with Him. The problem is, we have this thing we're all born with called sin and He says our sin has separated us from Him. But He also says that because of what Jesus did on the Cross - the righteous, perfect Jesus dying in the place of the unrighteous, which is all of us, we can have this relationship. How awesome is that?
