A lot of people are intently looking for spiritual reality. They just don't find spiritual peace, promise of eternal life, and love where they thought they would.

Jesus declared in John 6 of the Word of God, "I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." Jesus is addressing something that is throbbing inside of each of us - spiritual hunger and thirst. It is what the Bible calls eternity in our heart. We know we need something spiritual to fill the hole in our heart.

Maybe you would classify yourself as a spiritual seeker. You have lived long enough to know that earth stuff and earth relationships just aren't enough to complete us. You're always seeking, but never finding. Jesus says He is the end of your search. Maybe in a sense you have been looking out of a lot of spiritual windows hoping to find some peace and some reality. Maybe you have looked to various religions, crystals, horoscopes, or psychic powers. Maybe you've checked out an unconventional spiritual group that maybe some would call a cult. There are so many windows to look through, but each view has ended up unsatisfying and disappointing.

There are reasons why every search leaves you hollow inside. It is because what you really need is not spiritual experiences, warm feelings, beliefs, or even a group. You need to remove the sin that is blocking you from a relationship with your Creator. Isaiah 59:2 of God's Word says that your sins have separated you from God. Romans 5:8 says that God proved His love in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus is the only person who can remove that wall.

Are you tired of looking out of the window for spiritual reality and coming up disappointed? Jesus can give you love and peace. It begins at the cross, where you realize what He did for you there. A religion, an experience, or a group won't do it for you. You need a love relationship with the One you were made by and made for. Why don't you look His way right now? Jesus is everything your heart has ever looked for.
